*Nothing can substitute for good character in a fellow.*
*Not talent. Not connection. Not advantage. Not inheritance. And certainly, not the smartness of a man.*
*The advantage of birth Reuben came with was great – first among 12 sons.*
*The talent Samson was born with was unbelievable.*
*The level of gifting of Lucifer among the angels was incomparable with that of any other.*
*The connection of Gehasi in the succession line of ministerial greatness was obvious for all to see and recognize.*
*The pedigree of Judas Ischariot as the Treasurer to the greatest ministry of all times was well established.*
*But in all these instances mentioned above, in which individuals were heading for greatness in their life endeavours, their lives ended up being ruined by their simple lack of manners.*
*How do you explain it, that a man is so hungry for money that he ended up selling the Messiah of the world for 30 pieces of silver?*
*How do you also explain it, that a man finds no other woman to sleep with except the wife of his own father?*
*How do you also explain it, that the angel that was practically closest to God, who will not understand the value of loyalty and submission to authority?*
*How do you also justify it, that a fellow whose message of birth was delivered by an angel from God, and who was strongly warned by his own parents not to go through a particular route, will end up being caught at the lap of a global prostitute by his enemies?*
*How will anyone also explain it, that a fellow could be so close to becoming the greatest prophet of all times through inheriting the quadrupled anointing on Elijah, and he will throw it away by mere greed and avarice?*
*In all of these examples above, go and check it out, mannerlessness and lack of self control played very pivotal roles in them all.*
*The question before everyone of us is : “what type of manners and self control are you exhibiting around?”*
*Your life is a function of your manners, and no man gets away from his own manners. This is because if your manners do not catch up with you here and now, it certainly will later.*
Top of the day to you
