Two bodies have been recovered from a building that collapsed in Lagos on Sunday.
Nosa Okunbor, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, provided the update on Sunday morning.
“Two male commodities have been recovered under the rubble and bagged,” he said.
“Search and rescue is ongoing.”
In Lagos, the news of buildings collapsing has become a usual occurrence.
In November, at least 44 people died when a high-rise building crumbled.
In May, eight bodies were recovered after a three-storey building collapsed in Ebute-Metta.
Another building in the Ago Palace Way area of Lagos State collapsed on May 7.
August also recorded another building collapse leading to the death of two children.
