There are three main types of tumor:
#1.Benign: These tumors are not cancerous. They do not invade nearby tissue or spread to other parts of the body.
#2.Premalignant: In these tumors, the cells are not yet cancerous, but they can potentially become malignant.
#3.Malignant: Malignant tumors are cancerous.
In the practice of Herbal Medicine, one confirmed herb for the resolution of a non-cancerous (benign) tumor is the use of Ogbe Ori Akuko (leaves).
This particular herb was commonly used in the olden days to treat symptoms associated with teething in infants,but our fathers also used same to treat tumors.
Over the years ,with the advent of Orthodox Medicine, where surgery became widely accepted and mostly preferred, people had forgotten all about this tumor-dissolving herb.
But once in a while, when someone gets afflicted with a tumor, and such a person has reasons to avoid surgery, then the benefits of Herbal Medicine becomes more appreciated.
Let’s take for example this particular patient of mine.
She is a woman advanced in age (over 80!).
She developed a sort of swelling on one side of her neck,which was observed to be spreading to the front (under her chin) and to the other side of her neck.
Because of her age and some prevailing health conditions, she couldn’t be surgically operated upon.
Yet the tumor was increasing in size, causing her serious pains and had started affecting her swallowing and breathing.
Her children contacted me, and I took up her case.
She was placed on Ogbe Ori Akuko in both liquid and capsule forms and on Activated Turmeric Powder too.
After 3 weeks of starting on my Remedies, the tumor opened up by itself on one side of her neck, and started draining out pus,
I encouraged her to continue using those remedies, and also did herbal fomentation therapy using same Ogbe Ori Akuko leaves on her.
After the pus completely drained,and the wound nearly healed, she was placed on a special herbal ointment to ensure complete closure of the wound and a total healing.
The whole treatment took 5 weeks.
