It is a new year, and most of us wish for new things. Most of us aspire to keep enjoying or have back a vibrant health. But most of us still want to keep doing exactly what we have been doing in the past, things that are having negative impact on our health.
The truth is that we shouldn’t expect to have positive changes in our health if we refuse to make positive changes in our lifestyles.
Nobody will wish to ever experience, or keep suffering from any dis- ease conditions. To enjoy vibrant health should go beyond mere wishful thinking.
Our body operates like a most sensitive computer system, in which the output is based on the input. We need to consider what we “input” into our body systems. We should stop wishing for fantastic “outputs” while inputting garbage and junks.
This new year, for a vibrant health, let’s do these :
√Nourish our body with wholesome food, and not junks.
√Take more water, and not sodas or other unhealthy fluids.
√Move our body more by more walking rather than too much sitting.
√Feed our minds with uplifting thoughts through reading good books, watching good movies and interacting with good people…
Let us remember that health is not mere absence of disease, but rather a state of well being in which there is harmony between the body the mind and the soul.
May this new year be a turning point for each one us towards a vibrant health : physically, mentally, and spiritually.
