The Times of the Promised Son of Man

By Banji Ayoola

When the Son of God Jesus was convinced that He would no longer be permitted to go on with His Mission of spreading the Word of His Father among mankind on earth, and being the Love that He was, and is, He then told mankind of Another One, the Son of Man, Who would continue His Mission.

The Promised Son of Man is the same One as the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit.

And when This Other One cometh, as declared by Jesus, He shall remind us of all that He, Jesus had taught us; He shall reprove the world of sin and righteousness; He shall lead us into all truth; and He shall bring the Judgment. Also He shall bring enlightenment and He shall correct all the errors, distortions and misinterpretations introduced by men to the Words of Christ. The errors, distortions and misinterpretations which have prevailed as the gospel truth since Christ left the earth; which have been the cause of the confusion, the chaos, the violent disputations virtually everywhere on earth today.

Indeed the crisis everywhere on earth, which no human being, group or power, however wise or gifted, can resolve. The crisis which is escalating and worsening by the day. Everywhere on earth; in all continents and countries; both rich and poor. On the basis of which many human beings, creatures of the Almighty Father, have been, and are being killed in their thousands. On the basis of which presumed servants of the Lord, as confirmed by history, have permitted the use of poison and dagger to kill innocent human beings, who dared to think aright as individuals.

Today on earth, we live in desperate times. Violence, killings, murders, bloodshed, plane crashes, road crashes, bloody communal conflicts, insurgency, riots, natural disasters, earthquakes, flood, and the likes, in frequency that had never been witnessed on earth, are ravaging everywhere. Strange diseases defying all known cure now afflict the earth. And all human efforts to find solutions are proving futile, hopeless and helpless, as confirmed by the numerous conferences and their reports. On the basis of which the majority of mankind on earth have allowed themselves to be diverted from the true path, away from seeking and striving to serve the Will of the Lord.

So, as earlier stated, knowing that His sudden and violent departure from the earth was imminent, in Love that He is and was, Jesus, once again, held the Son of Man as the last hope of salvation for erring mankind. This Son of Man Who is also called the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth and the Holy Spirit is the promised Imanuel, as prophesied by Isaiah.

Some clarification is necessary at this point. Part of the erroneous interpretations and transmissions to mankind of events around the Earth Life of the Son of God, Jesus, is the reference to Him as both the Son of God and at the same time as the Son of Man, Imanuel. With the explanation newly given by the new knowledge spreading on earth today, we now know that the Son of God Jesus and the Son of Man Imanuel are two different Personalities, with different, but complementary Tasks or Missions, Who come from the same Source – God the Almighty Father.

With this same new knowledge mediated in this great work, we now know that the Son of Man Imanuel as prophesied by Isaiah, and as described in the Revelation of John, is the same One Personality from the Light as the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit Who will reprove the world of sins and righteousness and perform other tasks already listed above. We now know that He is the same Son of Man that the Son of God Jesus held as the last hope of salvation for mankind when He declared authoritatively shortly before his sudden and violent departure: “And when the Son of Man cometh…” He is also the Spirit of Truth, and the Comforter that Jesus meant when He said: “And when the Son of an cometh…”

Again, with the enlightenment offered by this great new knowledge of immense spiritual import, we now know that the Son of Man Imanuel is the Third Leg of the Holy Trinity – God the Father – God the Son – and God the Holy Spirit.

We now know that Mathew, although having no evil intention, was wrong in his interpretation and transmission of the Birth of Jesus as fulfillment of the prophesies concerning the Son of Man Imanuel.

Apart from listing the Tasks of the Promised Son of Man, Jesus Himself described the time mankind should expect the Coming One: The time of the false prophets; of pervasive monumental crisis and confusion. Besides, He gave conditions to recognise the Coming One, Who shall henceforth be the Mediator between His Father and mankind; Who shall be with us as the meaning of His Name, Imanuel, is: “God be with us.”

As stated in the Parable of the Ten Virgins, the human being whose inner lamp has not gone out, who is inwardly alive, immediately recognises the Voice which speaks to him in the “gospel of the kingdom” and promptly takes steps to grasp the lifeline offered him for salvation. On the other hand, one whose inner lamp has gone out, who is dead within, is not touched inwardly by this “gospel” as happened even when Christ was on earth. He passes by this lifeline. This way, each passes judgment on himself.

Many may even actively work against this gospel and dissuade others from availing themselves of this immense help offered again by the Creator, the Almighty Father. He judges himself thereby and reveals himself as servant of the Darkness, which will be eliminated from the earth.

The Teaching of the Son of Man, Which Christ called the “gospel of the kingdom,” has as its ultimate goal the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth, the Promised Millennium, when peace will reign on earth, after the elimination of everything, which disturbs peace, as well as everything that does not conform with the Holy Will of the Almighty Father. This is the dreaded Judgement, and we stand in it already.

Jesus had promised: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.” – John 16: 7 – 16, KJV.

Again: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” – John 14: 26, KJV.

“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” – Mark 8: 38, KJV

All these Words of Jesus refer to another Person, and not to the impersonal Power which Jesus had also promised His disciples: ‘And, behold, I send the promise of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” – Luke (24, 49).

This particular promise referred to the outpouring of Power through the Holy Spirit, an event which has been repeated every year at a definite time ever since the inception of Creation, for its maintenance. In those days the disciples experienced this event at Whitsuntide, after being inwardly prepared for it through the grievous experience occasioned by the sudden and violent death of their Lord. The activities which in His promise Jesus associates with the other Person, such as “to guide into all truth”, ” to preach”, “to teach”, ” to bring to remembrance what Jesus has said”, can only be carried out by a PERSON, and therefore they necessitate a personal fulfillment.

In the explanatory notes to the New Testament, published by Otto v. Gerlach, Professor of Divinity and Court Chaplain (Berlin 1863), it was stated: “These words ‘He shall not speak of himself’ make sense only in regard to a person, not to an impersonal power or manifestation of God.” In addition there is a special reference to the importance of this great teaching of the Holy Scriptures regarding the Personality of the Holy Spirit, which was not nearly enough appreciated.

By the designations “Spirit of Truth”, ” Comforter “, and ” Holy Ghost” Jesus meant the Son of Man, Who will come to continue His Mission. Not the least of His Works, by virtue of His High Office – for He comes from God – will be to set right the errors in the transmissions and interpretations of Christ’s words. And the Son of Man it is who brings the World Judgment to men, because He is Justice. Whereas Jesus, Who works in Love, emphasised that He had not come to judge (John 12, 47) (And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I come not to judge the world, but to save the world.”). The judgeship was laid by God upon “Justice” in person, upon the Holy Spirit! His activity is manifested in the immutable Laws of Creation, and transgression of these Laws is a sin against the Holy Spirit, which cannot be forgiven and must be expiated. Hence the words of the Bible, that sins against God and the Son of God can be forgiven, but not blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (Mathew 12, 31 – 32 “Wherefore I say unto you. All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”; Mark 3, 29 – “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.”) P. 287, A Gate Opens *

“In his wider vision Isaiah gives a noteworthy sign for the time of Imanuel: Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.” – (Isaiah 8, 10).

These words purport that the Son of Man is Executive Justice, Whose eternal and immutable Laws pulsate through Creation. Anything men do that is not in the sense of these Laws cannot last and must perish. But henceforth this will take place with uncanny acceleration, brought about through the Divine Power which the Son of Man brings unchanged into Creation for the Judgment. “For God is with us! “And wrong actions can no longer as before be concealed for a time, but must within a short time reveal themselves as such, visible to all. The increase in conferences which have come to nought, the empty promises, the perplexity, are signs of wrong “counselling” and “speaking the word”, and are part of the indications concerning the fulfillment of the prophecy.” – Ibid, P. 290.

“A further sign of this is the appearance of the many false prophets ((Matthew 24, 11). They are given this name because they promise to the seeking and erring human souls something which only the Son of Man has the power to grant! When they are there, the true Prophet will also step forth!” – Ibid, Pp. 290 – 291.

Paul said: ” For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall become away.” (1 Corinthians 13, 9 – 10). Only God is perfect, and His two Sons Jesus and Imanuel, Who both as a Part of God are eternally One with Him, and remain separate only in Their activity.” – Ibid, P. 291.

In Proverbs it was confirmed that the Son of Man was known by name even before the existence of Creation. “There the Son of Man, Who is called by the name ” Wisdom”, says: “The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was” – (Proverbs 8, 22 and 23).

We learn further in Proverbs the nature of the task God assigned to the Son of Man: “The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abiding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he approached the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him.” – (Proverbs 8: 22 – 31)

The Son of Man says: “For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8: 35 – 36

In the Revelation, the Son of Man promised: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” – (Revelation 21: 6) – Ibid “And no man hath ascended to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even (that is), the Son of Man which is in heaven.” – (The True Mission of the Son of God, Jesus” – P. 71. Threefold information here: 1. The Son of Man was in heaven when Jesus was on earth; 2. The Son of Man had already been on earth and returned to heaven at some time before Christ spoke these words; 3. The “heaven” Christ referred to in this statement is the Abode of God above, accessible to only Those Who are Part of God, the Trinity alone.

The second evidence showing that the Son of God and the Son of Man are two Personalities with different but complementary Tasks, is given in Revelation 1: 4 – 5. “John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and …” – Ibid, Pp. 71 – 72

Let us find out he “which is, and which was, and which is to come: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, said the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. I, John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet. Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches, which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamon, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

“And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks: And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow: and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou has seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.”

The Son of Man! He revealed Himself to John who described Him for the whole of mankind. He identified Himself as “Alpha and Omega.” John called Him “the Almighty.” Some may think this is God the Father. But God the Father cannot be seen by anyone, except the two Sons, as declared by Jesus: “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.” – (John 5: 37)

John himself clearly identified He Who spoke to him in verses 12 and 13 as the “Son of Man” and went on to describe Him. With the exception of His Two Sons, Who are Part of Him, no one has ever seen, can ever see God the Father to describe! The gulf is too much! Ocean of flames! The Son of Man Himself declared to John in Revelation 3: 5 – 6: “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The Son of Man Himself predicted His own coming in Revelation 3: 11 – 13: “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcome will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out; and I will write upon him the name of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

“So it is the Son of Man, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Truth Who comes to judge the world. As Christ predicted, the Son of Man will guide mankind into all truth:

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24: 14).

So the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, the Son of Man will guide mankind into all truth by making “the gospel of the kingdom” available “in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come,” for this “gospel of the kingdom” is the instrument by which the world is judged! He proclaims “the gospel of the kingdom” to all nations of the world. Mankind will then judge themselves individually, through this gospel, by the attitude each one develops towards it on coming in contact with it.

The contents of this gospel, in fulfillment of Christ’s earlier promises, have these objectives: 1. To remind mankind of the things Christ had once taught us; 2. To correct all the distortions and wrong interpretations which mankind have introduced to the Teachings of Christ over the past 2,000 years; 3. To reveal to mankind those Truths of life which Christ had to withhold from us because we could “not bear them yet.” These include the full description of Creation and the full explanations of the mechanisms of the workings of the Will of God and how mankind are to proceed in order to adjust ourselves to this Will, which is an important step each one must take who wishes to pass in the judgement. – Ibid, Pp. 72 – 78

One whose inner lamp has not gone out, who is inwardly alive, immediately recognises the Voice which speaks to him in the “gospel of the kingdom” and promptly takes steps to grasp the lifeline offered him for salvation. On the other hand, one whose inner lamp has gone out, who is dead within, is not touched inwardly by this “gospel” as happened even when Christ was on earth. He passes by this lifeline. This way, each passes judgment on himself. Many may even actively work against this gospel and dissuade others from availing themselves of this immense help offered by our Creator and the Almighty Father. He judges himself thereby and reveals himself as servant of the Darkness, which will be eliminated from the earth.

The Teachings of the Son of Man, Which Christ called the “gospel of the kingdom,” have as their ultimate goal the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth, Paradise the Promised Millennium, when peace will reign on earth, after the elimination of everything, which disturbs peace, as well as everything that does not conform with the Holy Will of the Almighty Father. This is the dreaded Judgement, and we stand in it already.
