Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has been appointed the Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
His appointment was made on Thursday evening when the party constituted its presidential campaign organisation, which will be chaired by the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.
The deputies chairmen are the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, for the North; and Oyo State Governor, Engnr Seyi Makinde, South.
National Organising Secretary of the party, Capt. Umar Bature, who signed the document confirmed its authenticity.
Others are Sen. Liyel Imoke as Deputy Director-General Operations; Prof. Adewale Oladipo, Deputy Director-General administration; Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Deputy Director-General Technical and Systems; Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, Deputy Director-General, Research and Strategy.
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has given political parties September 28, 2022 for official commencement of national campaigns ahead of the 2023 elections.
