The House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources, Downstream has said the rehabilitation work on the $1.5bn Port Harcourt refinery is on course.
They lawmakers also promised to revisit the refinery to assess the rehabilitation exercise
The committee urged all stakeholders to give their maximum support to the project, describing the 24-month timeline for the project as realisable.
The House Committee Chairman, Abdullahi Gaya, said this during the committee’s visit to the Port Harcourt Refinery Company in Eleme, Rivers, and promised to return in three months to see the progress of work
