Redemption price was costly

Sometimes in our dealings with people, I notice that it is easy for us to forget or ignore the fact that in the past, we were without Christ. We were a nobody and without a name, ( no identity). We were strangers from the covenant of promise, we had no hope, we had no God in the world.

“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Jesus Christ” (Ephesus 2: 12-13). We cannot stand in this glorious truth and speak lightly or make jest of the prize paid by the Lord to bring us near to God.

I am always amazed each time I read the book of Ephesus 2:2, where I am faced with the life I once lived. Living in the kingdom of nothingness, that is, walking according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

Repentance is the key, trust in Jesus’ Redemptive power is the victory. Serve Him and people around you, His children. Be the light that points to the path that leads men to God.

Let Heaven be your goal. Heaven is my home.

  1. I truly enjoy Pastor Lilian’s Column in The Radiance. Kudos to her and The Radiance. Greater heights, to the Glory of GOD.
