A good start in a 100 meter or any race or administration of a country or organization gives a successful ending for victory.
But, if the start-off is rugged or slow, the finishing may be wrong unless God says YES and supports.
So, President Tinubu should note that he is now the President of Nigeria and not Governor of Lagos State.
He and his team must be ready to change the “Play” called Governance of the past political leaders who only came to play in government for good in Nigeria.
The President should create a room for better foundation and take off based on his past experience and strategy in the political field.
The experience must not only be how to win election, but how to govern well after winning election in Nigeria.
From the second year of the President’s tenure, we may begin to fully assess him and his entire cabinet faithfully to see whether he is capable to deliver good welfare for Nigerians than many figure-head past leaders.
We trust that he will not disappoint Nigerians as “OMOLUWABI” who has the ability and agility to deliver a better governance. Time will tell through it is morning that shows the day.
Governing Nigeria is not easy. Not even a tea-party affair.
Therefore, all Nigerians too must rise up in Prayers and suggestions to give him and his officials full support than unconstructive criticism.
Nigeria of today is not easy to govern despite our thick skin to many bad changes.
While doing a dogged planning for better governance, find solution to issues of those agitating for self-governance, for they have good reasons for doing so based on past bad governance, inequality, injustice, killings, corruption, and nepotism to other parts of Nigeria.
Nigerians deserve a better treatment this time around.
Work well to be able to beat your chest after the end of your tenure without any regret of saying, “I should have done this or that”. You have ample chance now.
Four or eight years are the limit. Do it. Don’t wait for tomorrow. No third-term governance in Nigeria.
God Bless.
