The Police have arrested two brothers who allegedly specialise in motorcycle theft in Osun astate.
They were picked following complaints received at the Ikirun Police Area Command where operatives acted on intelligence report.
Police spokesman in the state, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi alleged the suspects stole two motorcycles — a blue TVS Lady model marked KNR 759 UM, and another TVS one marked FNN 898 QE.
He said following complaints lodged, the Police carried out an investigation, during which the two suspects aged 40 and 56 were qrrested.
He said the suspects, who are brothers, claimed to have bought the motorcycles via the Facebook using the account of their younger brother
Ojelabi added that On 8th May, 2025, based on credible intelligence and a tip-off, detectives attached to the Commissioner of Police’s Monitoring Unit arrested two other suspects
Ojelabi Disclosed that further
discreet investigations led to the arrest of the two including a motorcycle mechanic.
He said investigation hasnbeen concluded, and all suspects have been charged to court.
