Policemen have arrested a cleric with a fresh human head in Ondo.
The cleric was arrested at Ajagbale Area of Oka, Ondo City shortly after he received the human head.
He was said to have wanted to use it to “change his condition”.
Ondo Police Commissioner, Oyeyemi Oyeridan, paraded the suspect.
Other suspects were also arrested.
Oyeridan said another suspect was arrested for killing his best friend over a motorcycle.
He said the suspect was caught in Yara, Kogi State, negotiating to sell his late friend’s motorcycle.
He said he killed his friend so that he could sell his motorcycle.
The police also paraded another suspect aged 26, for allegedly killing a girl inside a hotel room.
Police said he was nabbed while attempting to escape from the hotel
“He went to a hotel known as ‘Enjoy your life’.
“Few minutes later, he jumped down the stairs of the hotel and took to his heels.
“He was pursued and brought back to the hotel room.
“A young lady of about 24 years was found in the pool of her blood with fresh injuries on her neck and chest.
“She was confirmed dead at the hospital. A blood stained knife was recovered at the scene.”
Also, a hunter who shot his 70 years old neighbour who was defecating in the bush at the back of his house was also paraded.
The hunter claimed he shot his neighbour to test his gun.
The Ondo Police boss said the suspects would soon be charged to court.
A dane gun was recovered from the suspect.
