It is hard to see what we are witnessing in Nigeria now and not “Weep for Our Beloved Country-Nigeria”.As an Elder, when a tree is felled in the bush, an Elder watches where it will fall.
Nigerians are indeed suffering in silence. We saw it. It pervades in the bloodstreams of the masses who have been enduring it for long.
It shouldn’t be so because, Nigeria is blessed with abundant natural resources but, the Corruption, ineptitude coupled with the vision-less-ness of some leaders before now brought us to our kneels. We can’t continue to “Sidon Look” aimlessly -selfishly.
It is time to take the bull by the horn to be able to place Nigeria back on a right and fast track. It is doable Your Excellency.
Nigerians want a “Messiah” to bail them out of Egypt but on Nigerian Soil and it must be NOW.
Our dear Beloved President Bola Tinubu, please, quickly come out and address the nation before the Proposed Protest of August 1, 2024 through National Broadcast and let the Broadcast be meaningful.
Who knows, Nigerians may be sympathetic and stop the protest which we are praying for. The ball is in the Court of President Tinubu and his Cabinet.
Nigeria is shaking. Her Excellency your wife, who is a mother of the nation, also has a noble role to play by kneeling down to beg you at home in form of Yoruba Culture and you should listen.
Words of Elders Are Words of Wisdom.
Also, the President should advice all Security Agencies to be Professional in their dealing with the masses. No use of Military Might. They should not provoke but to join you appeal to the suffering masses without relying on the Power of Guns.
Peace, Peace with Love should be our guiding Principle
The demands of Nigerians have been clearly read out. It is clearer in their speeches and faces.
Study all these legitimate Demands and find Palliative solution to them with a Promise to solve those that cannot be solved immediately.
All our Traditional, and Religious Leaders, National Assembly Members, Governors, Senator Mrs Tinubu, Stakeholders and Nigerian Well -Wishers should please advice President Tinubu and his Government to do the needful since “Hunger doesn’t know pleading” than to do the right things.
It is absolutely true that, today’s Problems have been piling up for years in Nigeria.
Since Governance is a continuum, Political Leaders who through their campaign for People’s Votes must know how to solve Problems without adding to People’s Sufferings when they assume Power.
Governance is about Administration and People’s Welfare. Anything short of these amounts to maladministration.
I appeal to Nigerians and Protesters to wait for Solution to their Demands without destroying Nigerians’ Properties.
Solution and Success can only be achieved through Peaceful Dialogue and Negotiation.
Therefore, Our President, listen to the Voice of Wisdom. Come out, make a meaningful broadcast to the Nation. Dont wait till the last minute.
Protest is not illegal. You are a Father of Protest in Nigeria.
You know where the shoe pinches. You know where the Pains are. Be Democrat. Be fast.
People are dying of hunger having been sacrificing and sacrificing.
Let Leaders show their meaningful sacrifice and stop living flamboyant lives in the face of Poverty. Youare not new in Politics. You live in Nigeria and You are a Nigerian.
We don’t have any other Country than Nigeria. We must not destroy it.
Act Wisely and quickly Your Excellency President Tinubu. Register your name in the Book of Good Record.
This is my humble Advice at this Zero Hour of the ticking of the Clock.
A Stich in Times Saves Nine.
