Veteran actor Pete Edochie and wife, Josephine celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 2.
May Edochie, wife of Edochie’s son, Yul, celebrated the couple on her Instagram page. However, her message had since sparked reaction on social media.
Yul and May’s estranged marriage had been the subject of social media trends, after Yul welcomed a son with second wife, Judy Austin in July.
Her message on Instagram read, “Pls fans join me to celebrate the great @peteedochie and his adorable wife. We are grateful to the Almighty for the gift of life. 53 years and counting! May God continue to strengthen you both and give you peace”.
