Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has received widespread applause for his transformative efforts in overhauling Osun State’s education sector.
Speaking during a recent community sensitization program, teachers across the state expressed renewed confidence in the direction of Osun’s educational development.
They commended the governor’s steadfast commitment to quality education, stating that his leadership has repositioned Osun as a progressive state that recognizes knowledge as the foundation for sustainable growth.
Besides, they noted that his administration has implemented a broad range of impactful interventions, including: rehabilitation of dilapidated school infrastructure, provision of modern learning tools and equipment, recruitment and training of qualified teachers and implementation of learner-centered education policies.
According to the education stakeholders, these initiatives have significantly improved the quality of teaching and learning in public schools across the state.
A senior teacher from Ilobu remarked:“For the first time in many years, we feel seen and appreciated. The Governor is not only investing in infrastructure but also prioritizing teacher welfare. This renewed sense of value has inspired us to rededicate ourselves to nurturing the next generation of leaders.”
In addition, the Adeleke administration has prioritized the distribution of instructional materials, the integration of digital learning tools, and the revival of technical and vocational education. These efforts aim to equip students with relevant, in-demand skills for the modern economy.
Parents and community leaders have also praised the reforms, emphasizing their role in bridging the educational divide between rural and urban areas, and ensuring that no child is left behind.
They noted that “this wave of commendation highlights the growing impact of Adeleke’s people-focused governance. His inclusive vision for a dynamic and resilient education system is already yielding tangible results at the grassroots level”.
As Osun State continues its developmental strides under Adeleke’s leadership, teachers have pledged their unwavering support and commitment to partnering with the government in sustaining these transformative gains for the benefit of future generations.
