Oyerinmade inducted into Oil Africa Hall of Fame

A foremost Senatorial aspirant in the 2023 National Assembly Election for Ondo South Senatorial District, Matthew Oye Oyerinmade has been inducted into the prestigious Oil Africa Leadership Hall of Fame.

At a well attended ceremony hosted by Oil Africa Leadership Magazine, at Royal Birds Hotel and Towers, Alagbaka, Akure on Sunday, the Chief Executive Officer of Maric Nig Ltd – an oil and gas company, also received the Most Innovaive CEO of the Year 2021 Award at the event.

Oyerinmade, popularly called, Mato, was so honoured with other big players in the oil and gas industry, including the Amapetu of Mahin land, Oba Oluwasegun Akinyomi, Chief (Mrs.) Ikem Oke, wife of Chief Olusola Oke SAN; Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, MHR representing Odigbo/Ileoluji-Okeigbo Federal Constituency and Bradama International Skill Works Ltd.

The induction ceremony of Oyerinmade, a former director in Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) was witnessed by a large crowd of his business and political associates, and many of his classmates and old comrades from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and from his Alma-Mater, former Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti (OSUA), now Ekiti State University (EKSU).

The awardee later hosted his guests who had come from all walks of life and his political associates and leaders from the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State, to a dinner party, with food and drinks at Sunview Hotel, Alagbaka, Akure.

While dedicating the award to his wife and children, and staffers in his companies, the Oke-Igbo born businessman also thanked his colleagues in the oil and gas industry for the success recorded over the past two decades in the industry.

The Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State also appreciated all the political leaders, elders and leaders of the party who had graced the occasion to identify with him and his family in such a special day.

He expressed gratitude to the organizers of the award for counting him worthy of the honour bestowed on him, promising not to betray the confidence and trust reposed in him.

Matthew Oye Oyerinmade was a vibrant Students’ Union activist, having served as Speaker of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of NANS, during his University days.

His political affiliation has usually been with the progressive group starting as a strong member of the winner of the annulled 1993 presidential election, the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola Hope 93 Presidential Campaign Committee of the defunct Social Democracy Party (SDP), where he helped galvanized a variety of political interests to achieve the desired goals.

He is posited to use his wide range of rich experiences as students’ union activist, community mobilizer, philanthropist,  in youth development advocacy, party politics and business acumen in legislative sessions and activities when elected into the upper chamber of the National Assembly in February 2023.

Oyerinmade, a devout Christian, also has economic interest in some high profile companies such as Titan Bolting Solution Technology, Anchor Maric Usa, Anchor Maric Nigeria Limited, House Paints And Coating Limited and Mattan Global Limited.
