Oyebamiji celebrates Tinubu’s wife Oluremi at 65

The Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, fondly known as AMBO, has felicitatwd with Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.

In a glowing tribute, Oyebamiji, a leading All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Osun State, described the First Lady as “a virtuous woman of inestimable value and a rare gift to mankind.”

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who currently serves as Nigeria’s First Lady, boasts a long and distinguished career in public service. She served as the First Lady of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 during the governorship of her husband, now President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. She later represented Lagos Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly for three consecutive terms between 2011 and 2023.

In his statement, Oyebamiji praised Senator Tinubu’s contributions to Nigeria’s democratic and socio-economic development, lauding her philanthropic work and unwavering dedication to national service.

“Celebrating our mother on this auspicious occasion is to celebrate a life of worthy existence, impact, triumph, achievement, and above all, godliness,” Oyebamiji said.

He highlighted her achievements in key sectors including education, health, agriculture, commerce, and women and youth empowerment, describing her as a “seasoned politician, religious leader par excellence, and public administrator of repute.”

“She is indeed the better half of our President—a responsible wife and mother, a role model and epitome of humility, discipline, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the service of God and humanity,” he added.

Oyebamiji emphasized that Senator Tinubu’s leadership and character have made her a source of inspiration, especially to Nigerian women and younger generations.

“Her name is written in gold on the sands of time. She continues to inspire not just because of her position, but because of her perseverance, character, and undeniable impact on the lives of others,” he stated.

On behalf of his family and the AMBO Movement, Oyebamiji congratulated the First Lady, praying for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon her life.

“Mummy, as you celebrate yet another prosperous year in service to God and humanity, I pray Almighty God continues to elevate you, enrich your wisdom, and empower you to keep serving our nation,” Oyebamiji said.
