A prominent governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has congratulated former Osun State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Sunday Akere, on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary.

Oyebamiji, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), in his goodwill message, described Hon. Akere as a “rare breed” and a distinguished figure in the state’s political and administrative landscape.

He praised Akere’s exceptional contributions to governance and democracy, particularly during his tenure as Information Commissioner and later as Special Adviser on Political Matters to former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, now the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.

He said, “It is a great joy and honour for me to celebrate our very own Hon. Akinrogun Sunday Akere — a reputable politician, seasoned administrator, and grassroots mobilizer — on the occasion of his birthday.

“Hon. Akere is known for his competence, capability, and unshakable can-do spirit, all of which were evident in his performance as spokesperson of the Osun State Government and as Political Adviser.”

Oyebamiji commended his resilience and integrity, calling him an inspiration to the younger generation of leaders.

“I am proud of you. We are all proud of your remarkable achievements, which came through hard work, patience, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to public service,” he added.

He prayed for continued good health and wisdom for the celebrant.

“As you mark another fulfilling year today, I join your family, friends, political allies, and admirers across the globe in celebrating your life and legacy.

“May Almighty God bless you with long life, wisdom, and wealth to continue your impact on humanity. Happy birthday, my dear brother and friend. Congratulations!”
