Osun State First Lady, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke receives Face of Osun Pageant team ahead of 2023 Edition

The CEO of Rowland Empire Innovation Prince and Princess Pageant USA, Organizers of the Annual Face of Osun Pageant, Prince Timi Abiri, on Friday, led a team of the American firm on a courtesy visit to the First Lady of Osun State, Her Excellency, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke as part of the stakeholders’ consultations ahead of the 2023 edition of the event, which will be held in Osogbo, the state capital in November.

In her remarks at the reception, the First Lady commended the team for their efforts in using the Face of Osun initiative for the promotion of culture and Tourism in the state. She also pledged her support for the project.

Erelu Adeleke reiterated her commitment to supporting all initiatives that are focused on the youth, women, and children in the state.

Earlier at a press conference which was held in Osogbo in preparation for the official unveiling of the 2023 edition of the event, Prince Abiri told reporters that the forthcoming event is geared towards celebrating culture, promoting Tourism, and supporting and advocating for women empowerment in Osun State in particular and the country in general.

According to him, ladies aged between 18 and 28 years are eligible to register for free and stand a chance to be the next Miss Osun 2023/2024, Miss Tourism 2023/2024, or Miss Culture 2023/2024.

He said that the free registration of interested participants for the 2023 Season Eleven of the event tagged “The Light Edition”, started on Sunday, August 28 and would end on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Abiri said: “Face of Osun is a Public Private Partnership(PPP) project initiated to contribute to the tourism economy of our dear state, empower youths and women and promote our cultural heritage. These have been our hallmarks for over a decade since we started this journey”.

Face of Osun Pageant is a beauty and leadership contest brand with a shining reputation spanning eleven years in the cultural promotion, Tourism development, and women empowerment in the state.

It is held annually in collaboration with the Osun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The grand finale of this year’s Eleventh Edition of the Pageant will be held in November in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
