According to Oyetola: “I must not fail to racognise the chairman of the local government, Hon Adeboye Mukaila Oladejo… I am delighted to be here today for the commissioning of the market complex Kuta as part of the second year anniversary of our administration.
“Four months ago, we were here for the commissioning of the palace of the Olowu of Kuta and inauguration of Kuta bridge. The two projects stand as testimonies to the fact that our administration holds Kabiesi and the people of Kuta in high esteem and places high premium on their welfare.
“The market complex that we are commissioning today is a tool of empowerment for our women in the facilitation of their business opportunities, their businesses in the overall economic development of Kuta people.
“Let me emphasise that this was built by the local government council under the able leadership of Hon Adeboye Mukaila Oladejo. The infrastructure including roads for our people in the state, our administration places high premium on road construction and rehabilitation. Consequently we embarked on massive road construction across the state.
“The Kuta township roads shall be rehabilitated next year to complement the market and enhance government performance and the social life of the people and improve their business opportunities. In our two years in government, we provided massive services, and execute programmes and projects in all sectors across the state including health, infrastructure, education, agriculture. Kuta and the entire Ayedire Local Government area are beneficiaries.
“The government health care centres and other projects executed in your local government are testifying to the equitable distribution of social services across the state.
“Despite COVID-19 lockdown and economic realities which faced us for 12 months out of 24 tgat prevented us to work effectively in all policies. The next two years would be phenomenal.
“I would like to use this occasion to thank the Kabiesi and the people of Kuta for their support and cooperation with our government in the last two years and for allowing peace to reigns in Kuta. I ask us to continue to sustain the tempo so that we shall be encouraged to deliver more services in the years to come.
“The market we are commissioning today is a big opportunity for business expansion for our women. I therefore implore our women to join cooperative societies to move their businesses forward… by the coming of this market.”

“Barring all unforeseen circumstances and with God on your side and on our side as a state because God would not want to put us back to slave market. Anything other than this team in our dear state at this crucial moment is going to be a setback. And God forbid.
“Mr Governor, be rest assured as always beyond Kuta, wherever Owu is and again beyond that, we abide by your leadership tenets and the business acumen that is being factored into leadership in Osun.
Like the Timi of Ede said yesterday, you don’t change the winning team, so we align by that. We align by that. Gbogbo eni ti ko ba wa te l’orun y’oo fi owo wo’nu l’eyin odun mejo. E se e.”
The royal father said: “You have been commissioning projects all around for the past one week in commemoration of well spent serving months called two years. Congratulations Your Excellency.
“Having done these under serving months like I said during your consultation cum campaign, I said you are calling at a time that you have a lot of compelling demands from us the citizenry of the state; many demands from limited resources. I did not envisage to have a pandemic, neither did I envisage to have a prolonged litigation talkless of the recent #EndSARS that drained the state and yourself.”
Also at Ileogbo, where the governor commissioned another ultra modern market at Idi Ore, built also by the Oladejo administration, the Olu of Ile-Ogbo, Oba Agbajelola Adetoyese thanked the governor for prioritising the welfare of his subjects.
Amid a large crowd of festive people, who trooped out for the event, the royal father noted the numerous government’s interventions, particularly in infrastructure, health, education and human capacity development, saying he and his subjects would continue to be grateful to the government for all it had done so far to impact their lives positively.
In the words of Oba Adetoyese: “I must commend your administration for all you are doing to reposition the state; you have done excellently well. We have been hearing and seeing your good work all over the place, particularly in Ile-Ogbo.
“We are confident that your second term is secured. By the Grace of God, you will rule Osun for another term after the expiration of this tenure.”

Our people will recall that immediately this present administration came on board precisely on 6th February, 2018 we promised to create an administration in which no one shall be left behind – a government in which all communities shall feel the impact of our vision where ever they may be.

“I also echoed this contract of hope in my maiden address as the Chairman being given the responsibility of changing the people’s lives for the better, to create the conditions for prosperity in every home and to make our communities vibrant and exciting to live. And for this reason, I respectively entitled my address *“Promise Humbly Made, Promise Speedily Fulfilled”*
He described the market projects as “a test of our capacity to create a goal, set targets, mobilise the resources and manage the funds with extra – ordinary prudence and commitment.”
Said Oladejo: “The successful completion of these projects has given us greater confidence and trust in the human and material resources we are blessed with in this Local Government.
