The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun State, has said that the Second Phase of the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) Exercise will commence on Monday, 5th January, 2026, across the State.
In its New Year greetings to the people of the state, it reassures the electorate of the Commission’s unwavering commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic process.
It explained that the his phase of the CVR is designed to provide an opportunity for eligible Nigerians who were unable to register during the first phase to do so.
It is also open to citizens who have attained the age of 18 years, as well as registered voters who wish to apply for transfer of registration, correction of personal details, or replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
INEC therefore urges all eligible voters in Osun State to take advantage of this exercise, as voter registration remains a constitutional requirement for participation in elections.
The Commission in Osun State, under the leadership of the Resident Electoral
