Osun State Government has approved the appointment of Prince Peter Oluwole Akinyooye as the new Olufon of Ifon in Orolu Local Government Area of the state.
Also, it approves the appointment of Prince Najeem Abefe as Onsara of Inisa in Ejigbo South Local Government Council Development Area.
The appointment of the two monarchs was announced on Wednesday after the State Executive Council meeting presided by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, the appointment was approved after the State Executive Council Meeting.
He said “Osun State Government during the State Executive Council meeting approved the appointment of Prince Peter Oluwole Akinyooye as the new Olufon of Ifon in Orolu local Government area of Osun state.
“In the same vein, also at the sitting, approval was given to the appointment of Prince Najeem Abefe as Onisara of Inisa 1 in Ejigbo South Local Council Development Area.
He said this was in line with the Chieftaincy Declaration in consonance with the Chiefs law, Cap 25, laws of Osun State 2022, appointments of Chieftaincy Declaration.
