The Corps Commander, Dr. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, gave the assurance in his New Month of December Message, marking the final month of the year 2025.

He expressed appreciation to both operatives of the Corps and residents of Osun State for their cooperation throughout the year, while emphasizing the importance of vigilance and collaboration as the festive season approaches.

“My dear operatives of the Osun Amotekun Corps, and the ever-resilient people of our beloved Osun State, as we gracefully step into the month of December the grand finale of the year 2025—I extend my warm greetings, heartfelt wishes, and deep appreciation to each and every one of you.

‘Entering a new month is a privilege, but stepping into December, which symbolizes completion, reflection, and renewed hope, is a blessing we must acknowledge with gratitude to the Almighty.”

The Corps Commander charged residents to remain security-conscious, urging them to report suspicious activities promptly and to comply with safety guidelines to guarantee a peaceful end to the year.

“As we enter the festive season, I appeal to all residents to remain security-conscious. Report suspicious activities promptly, adhere to safety guidelines, and continue to work hand-in-hand with security agencies to ensure a peaceful end to the year,” he added.

Omoyele reiterated that the security of Osun State is a shared responsibility, stressing that peace becomes more assured when citizens and security operatives work together.

His words, “The security of our state is a shared responsibility. When citizens and security operatives collaborate, peace becomes not just a goal, but a guaranteed reality.”

He also encouraged residents to use the month of December as a period for sober reflection and renewed commitment to unity and peace.

“December offers us a special moment to reflect on the lessons of the past months and embrace the opportunities ahead. With unity, discipline, and God’s guidance, we will continue to strengthen our strategies, enhance our capabilities, and broaden our community partnerships in the coming year.”

He prayed for peace and prosperity for all communities in Osun State:

“Let us walk through this month with hope, love, patience, and mutual respect. May the spirit of the season inspire us to care for one another, protect one another, and build a stronger and more peaceful Osun State for all.

“May the month of December bring peace to every household, progress to every community, and prosperity to our dear state.

“May God continue to protect our operatives, guide our leaders, bless our families, and grant us a safe, joyous, and fulfilling festive season.”
