A former envoy and Ondo South senatorial aspirant, Ambassador Sola Iji, greets Muslims as they celebrate Eid Mubarak.
A message titled: “Ambassador Sola Iji rejoices with Muslims as they celebrate Eid Mubarak,” by the Director General of Ambassador Sola Iji Campaign Organisation, ASICO, Onibudo ‘Wole Iroaye, said: “The leading aspirant and contender for the Ondo South Senatorial seat, Ambassador Sola Iji, has sent his felicitations to all Mulims in Ondo South Senatorial District and beyond.
He said: “In his Eid Mubarak message to the Muslims,”the former Chairman of the AD., A.C., ACN., respectively and former Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Togo, appreciated God Almighty for His grace upon the Muslims in the Senatorial District and beyond to celebrate the year’s Eid Mubarak in peace.
“Also, he said: ”Our Muslim brothers and sisters must remain eternally grateful to God for the blessing of the Eid Mubarak as this shows how much they are loved and favoured by God, saying they must continue to be faithful, and committed to the good virtues for which the Holy Qur’an is known.
“He admonishes them to use the occasion of the Eid Mubarak to reflect on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an as they relate to loving one another; making sacrifices and rendering selfless services to promote the prosperity of human-kind.”
Iroaye added that “Iji also enjoins the Muslims to use the period of Eid Mubarak to work for the unity of our great country, Nigeria.
“He wishes all Muslims in Ondo South and beyond exciting Eid Mubarak celebrations.”
