A former envoy and Ondo South senatorial aspirant, Ambassador Sola Iji, greets Christians as they celebrate Easter.
A message titled “Easter Celebration: Ambassador Sola Iji felicitates Christians in Ondo South,” by the Director General of Ambassador Sola Iji Campaign Organisation, ASICO, Onibudo ‘Wole Iroaye, said: “The leading aspirant and contender for the Ondo South Senatorial seat, Ambassador Sola Iji, has sent his felicitations to all Christians in Ondo South Senatorial District.
“In his Easter message, the Former Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Togo thanked God on behalf of all Christians in the Senatorial District for His grace to witness this year’s Easter Celebration.
“In his words, ‘ We must be eternally grateful to God for sending His only begotten Son to die for the redemption of mankind. This shows how much God loves us.
“As we celebrate, we must not lose sight of this sacrifice and the benefit of salvation that accrues from it. We must also make conscious efforts to hold firmly onto the tenets of our faith and show love to one another. This is the least expected of us as lovers and followers of Christ, ‘he added.
“Ambassador Iji further enjoined all Christians to celebrate moderately and use the affordance of the season to reflect on the ideals of Christ for impactful living.
“He wishes all Christians in Ondo South happy Easter Celebrations and pray God to grant everyone’s heart desires and fill every home with endless joy!”
