Ondo police gets new PRO

Mr Jimoh Abayomi Kazeem, a deputy superintendent, has been appointed as the new spokesman of the Ondo State Police Command.

He succeeds the outgoing Olushola Ayanlade, also a DSP.

Kazeem was util his new appointment, attached to the Counter-Terrorism and CBRNE Unit of the INTERPOL Section at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Abuja.

He is a member of Regular Course 2, Set of 2019, and a graduate of Computer Science from the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano.

Kazeem has served in various capacities within the Force, including as Crime Officer as well as Patrol and Guard Officer in the Lagos State Command, before his posting to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal–Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (EOD-CBRN) Unit at the Force Headquarters, where he served as a Unit Commander.

He has attended several professional courses and trainings, including Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, Basic EOD-CBRNe Training, Global Biosecurity Enhancement Programme for Law Enforcement Joint Criminal-Epidemiologic Investigation, and Counter-Terrorism Technical Training, among others.

His expertise in investigation, administration and communication was described as key to his appointment.
