Ondo ministry opens fora for green economy project take-off

Ondo State’s Ministry of Regional lntegration and Diaspora Relations has opened several forums to ensure the smooth take-off of the proposed Green Economy initiative project.

The ministry’s spokesman, Bisi Agboola said in a statement that “at one of such fora where he initiated Zoom meeting, the Commissioner, Prince ‘Boye Ologbese, commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for showing keen interest to see that the project come to reality.

ln the position paper presented, Hon Ologbese said the project is going to be a first-class investment that will bring Ondo, the sunshine state to the world map.

The commissioner said: “Bringing the United Kingdom (UK) chapter of our Diaspora will hasten the success of the Smart City project and propel the job opportunities for our teeming youths.”

According to the statement: “Similarly, the Director, Diaspora Relations of the ministry, Mrs.Komolafe lyabo said the establishment of a Smart City will bring many uncommon advantages including territorial expansion, economic emancipation ánd the upgrading of human socio status

“The Administrative Secretary of the ministry, Mr.Kunle Ajibade had earlier in his welcome remark commended the readiness of all staffers of the ministry to collectively work at ensuring that the Diaspora Smart City project becomes successful.”
