Ondo market women leaders with Akeredolu

– commend Akeredolu’s performance

Market women in Ondo State have commended the efforts being put into making life worth living for residents of the state by the present administration.

Speaking while on a courtesy visit to the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, in his office in Akure, the newly elected Iyaloja for Ondo State, Chief Adefemiwa Iwalola said the performances of the governor since inception have been impressively heartwarming.

According to Chief Iwalola, regular payment of salaries to workers in the state and construction of roads and schools are some of the achievements the Akeredolu administration is delivering for the comfort of the state.

A statement by Mr Bode Akinwumi, Press Officer to the Governor, said that the Iyaloja–elect who was accompanied on the visit by some of her executive members assured of the support of all market women in the state for the policies and programmes of the present administration in the state.

“Our governor, let me assure you that we the market women in Ondo State are behind you. We are in support of your progrmmes. We will support you now and also support you for second term in office,” she said.

“We should not be deceived by any form of political tricks, Baba Buhari is the only person that can fight to finish the monster called corruption in Nigeria

“All Nigerians should support him, we the Iyalojas, Iyalajes, we will support him to win again in 2019,” she declared.

The Iyaloja-elect however appealed to the State Government for its support to enable her succeed during her tenure.

In his remarks, the Governor congratulated the Iyaloja –elect and assured of government support during her inauguration coming up in October.

Akeredolu who restated the commitment of his administration to its electoral promises despite financial constraints, expressed optimism that things will change for better in the Sunshine State.
