Ondo LG poll: Ose APC inaugurates campaign council, swears in Igbalajobi as DG

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo state has inaugurated its campaign council in readiness for the coming local government election.

At the inauguration, Engr. Babatunde Igbalajobi took oath of office as the Director-General of the council to lead the campaign.

Speaking at the event, Ose APC Chairman, Hon. Ladi Tenabe expressed delight over the cooperation of members and their generous donation towards the campaign.

He described the development as a new dawn in the history of Ose politics, saying the donation and impressive attendance meant that all the candidates are well accepted, capable and qualified.

Tenabe called on the candidates not to betray the confidence reposed in them by the people of Ose.

In his goodwill message, the Northern Senatorial Chairman of the party, Hon. Jacob Oredola congratulated the candidates saying they are all eminently qualified to make APC proud during and after the election as the party is now known for objectivity, quality service delivery and organizational skills.

In his acceptance speech, Engr. Babatunde Igbalajobi assured of a well coordinated, peaceful, credible and transparent election.

He said his committee will take advantage of the spirit of tolerance and peaceful coexistence within the party to deliver credible results.

The DG immediately performed his first official assignment by swearing in other sub committees.

Responding on behalf of the candidates, the APC Chairmanship candidate in Ose, Brr. C.K Ojo thanked Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the leaders of the party for their selections.

Promising to run all inclusive administration that will be fair and just to all regardless of where they work, live or play, he vowed to immediately address the issue of insecurity in the local government.

Earlier, the women wing of the party rolled out the drums with beautiful dance steps soliciting support for the candidates.

Dignitaries at the occasion include Dr. Anthony Modupe, Madam Kehinde Adeniran, Lady Agbayewa, Hon. Eni- Olotu and Barr. Fola Olasehinde-Vincent.

They include Mrs, Taiye Olagbegi, Hon. Eko, Hon.Saliu Adewole Omotosho, all ward Chairmen and Counsellors.
