Ondo State Government has fixed February 5, 6 and 7 for the final passage rights for the departed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Hon Tayo Oluwatuyi.
The Hope, the state government-owned newspaper, in its Thursday January 9 edition, quoted a top member of the burial committee, who pleaded anonymity because he’s not authorised to speak for the government, as confirming the arrangements on Thursday.
According to the report: “According to the programme schedule, there will be a Tributes Evening and Candlelight Procession from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, February 5, to terminate at his Oshinle Quarters Family House in Akure.
“On Friday, February 6, the late SSG’s body will lie in state at the headquarters of Akure South Local Government, where he was once council chairman.
“Oluwatuyi, fondly called “Tukana,” died on January 4, 2025 from injuries sustained in a fatal auto crash.”
