Ondo CIPM visits Lutheran World Relief

As part of its advocate efforts and towards forging corporate networks, the CIPM, Ondo State branch on Tuesday 4th May 2024 paid a courtesy visit to Lutheran World Relief, Akure- a Non-Government Organization ( NGO)

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the organization’s Chief of Party, Mr. Nene Akwetey- Kodjoea along with other management staff from the HR Department, including its HoD, Mr. Foluso Ajodeji FCIPM.

Speaking, the branch Chairman, Mr. Sola Lebile who led the delegation of all exco members appreciated the organization’s crucial role in accelerating the growth of rural economics and reducing global poverty.

“We believe that our visitation today will produce a positive outcome”, he said.

Indeed, the visiting team engaged the host on potential collaboration in HR-related areas and asked if the organization could diversify from its area of focus.

However, the organization was quick to stress that intervention was only for cocoa farmers, adding that its area of focus already established by its sponsors cannot be altered.

Overall, a strong connection was established, with assurance of continuous engagements, especially among CIPM members in the organization.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of branded suvenier by the IPC, Mr. Ageh Ayodeji to the head of the organization in the State being referred to as ” Chief of Party”.

It will be recalled that the courtesy visit was the first public outing of the new executive committee which assumed office in March this year.
