The pioneer and incumbent Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, will be honoured by his home Community of Omuo-Ekiti in Ekiti State today, Thursday, 30th December, 2021.
He will be conferred with the enviable “Omuo Exceptional Award( Omoluka)” by Oba (Dr.) Noah Adejuwon Omonigbehin, Okinbaloye 11,Olomuo of Omuo Kingdom in recognition of his contributions to the overall development of Omuo Community.
Head, Information, Protocol, Passages, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said in a statement that the investiture ceremony, which is part of the activities lined-up for the commemoration of the Olomuo’s 30th Coronation Anniversary, will hold at the Olomuo’s Palace today by 10:00 a.m prompt.
Fasakin had recently been decorated with the distinguished Educationist and Public Administrator of the Year Award by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, as well as the Head of Higher Institution of the Year Award in Ondo State by the popular Sunshine Standard Magazine for his exemplary leadership qualities and landmark achievements in Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji.
The statement said: “Friends and well-wishers of the Rector are expected to converge on Omuo Community today to celebrate him on this rare recognition coming from his home Community in his life time.
