What the Lord hath joined together is a union where the conditions for harmony, and thus happiness, and peace exist.
Where the two human beings, male and female, who are uniting are coming together to seriously tackle a joint task, to work jointly together towards a common high aim and spiritual ennoblement. Where they complement one another in their abilities.
Where both partners voluntarily joyfully and naturally serve one another unselfishly. Where shoulder to shoulder, they both smilingly face together and overcome all earthly trials.
Where the emphasis is on voluntarily joyfully giving to the other, of serving the other, of making the other happy, of giving joy to the other. But not to burden, pelt, or harass the other with demands.
Where they both joyfully swing upwards together.
It is this union to which is addressed the warning of Christ: “What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder!”
In this harmonious union, no third party whoever it is, must come in to disturb.
Any attempt by a third party to disturb this union made in heaven, which “God hath joined together!” is a sin against Him. It violates the Sixth Commandment “Thou shalt not commit adultery!”
On the other hand, what the Lord hath not joined together is already asunder from the beginning of the union.
It is a union made on earth. It is not made in heaven. It has no spiritual foundation. It is not valid before the Natural Laws. It is not recognised by the Laws. As such it does not swing in the Laws.
It is a lifeless, dry contraption arbitrarily brought about by man. It is an artificial contraption, a house built on sands.
It is an aberration, a curse, rather than a blessing to the two – the male and female concerned -, their children, if any, their neighbours, surroundings, the entire mankind, and Creation.
From the start of this man-made union, the two human beings male and female, who are uniting are already separated on the basis of their inner life, of their separate volition, aspirations, and thus separate goals or aims.
They live with separate goals.
Rather than seriously face a common task and the same direction both inwardly and outwardly, they cast their gaze separately at different directions, at different goals.
Goals that are parallel and antagonistic to one another, that are irreconciliable. Even right from the beginning of the union.
It is these false “marriages” that exist in the majority on earth today.
