The Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai, will on Monday, September 14, 2020 commission the Kuta-Ikoyi-Ede Bridge in Osun State.
The age-long Bridge, which links Kuta, Ikoyi and Ede in Ayedire and Ede Local Government Areas of the State, was recently completed by the Engineering Corps of the Nigerian Army as directed by Gen Buratai, through the facilitation of the Olowu of Kuta, His Royal Majesty, Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude, Tegbosun the Third.
Osun State Governor, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola is the Guest of Honour; while His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja the Second, is the Royal Father of the Day.
Oba Oyelude, on behalf of the entire sons and daughters of Kuta welcomes the COAS.
