Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, has appointed Dr. Adetoun Adebisi Oyelude as its new University Librarian,
Her appointment, following a comprehensive selection process, and which takes an immediate effect, brings a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Library Management and Academic Research Support to the university.
Dr. Oyelude, a Fellow of the Nigerian Library Association (FNLA), and a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), previously served as the Deputy Librarian of the University of Ibadan.
She holds a First Degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and both the Master’s Degree and PhD from the University of Ibadan, where she honed her skills in Library Management and Research Support.
OAUSTECH Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, is particularly excited over Dr. Oyelude’s appointment, praising her wealth of experience and vision for advancing the university’s library services.
Responding to her appointment, Dr. Oyelude thanked the University’s Governing Council and the Vice-Chancellor for the opportunity given her to serve.
She expressed her commitment to making OAUSTECH’s library a hub for academic excellence and innovation.
Her appointment is a major step of the Ologunorisa administration in enhancing the University’s research capacity, student learning experience, and library resources.
