Osun Babes FC teenage sensation, Tabitha Terlumun, is confident of achieving a successful season—both individually and with her team—after an impressive performance in their victory over Ahudiyannem Queens FC in Ile-Ogbo.
Tabitha, who represented Nigeria at this year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, was voted Man of the Match following her explosive display that tormented the opposition defense throughout the encounter.
The pacey forward was full of praise for her teammates and coaches, crediting them for helping her reach top form.
“Winning the Man of the Match award is a collective effort from all my teammates. The whole team played wonderfully, and every player deserves the award,” she said.
“We are now looking beyond the victory over Ahudiyannem Queens. We have played only two matches, and there are still many more ahead.”
Tabitha also expressed her personal ambitions for the season.
“Individually, I want to build on this award, be the best I can be, help the team win games, and push myself to the limit.
“We are a very young and dynamic team, and I am optimistic that collectively we will achieve great things together.”
