NUJ Osun Council Felicitates Muslims on Eid el-Fitr, Urges Peace, Unity

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council, has extended felicitations to all Muslim faithful in the state on the occasion of Eid el-Fitr.

It said: This significant celebration, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is a period of gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to the values of peace, sacrifice, and compassion.

The Council commends the Muslim Ummah for their devotion, discipline, and prayers for the unity and progress of Osun State and Nigeria at large.

The NUJ Osun Council aLeo urges all residents to sustain the virtues of tolerance, love, and generosity imbibed during Ramadan, especially as the state prepares for the August 15 governorship elections.

We encourage citizens to continue to promote peaceful coexistence and support efforts aimed at strengthening our democratic institutions.

As journalists, we reaffirm our commitment to responsible, ethical, and development-driven journalism that fosters unity, informs the public, and contributes to a stable society.

We wish all Muslim faithful a peaceful and fulfilling Eid celebration.
