Here we go!!!!
Happy new month everyone! I welcome you all to a new month embedded with greater opportunities to correct the present mistakes for a better tomorrow.
As you all know, Nigeria decide this month, and Democracy is about voting and it’s about a majority vote. And it’s time that we started exercising the Democratic process. Hence, by voting, we add our voice to the chorus that forms opinions and the basis for actions. We shouldn’t be afraid of our government. Our governments should not be afraid of us. Bad leaders are elected by good citizens who don’t vote. Therefore
If you don’t vote, you lose the right to complain. Election belongs to the people, so this coming election belongs to you. Let your voice be heard through the ballot, don’t be afraid to go out on the election day and cast your vote for the candidates of your choice. Voting is not only yours, it is also your power.
For a political systems to be representative, all parts of society must be included. When young people are disenfranchised or disengaged from political processes, a significant portion of the population has little or no voice or influence in decisions that affect group members’ lives. A key consequence is the undermining of political systems representativeness.
To make a difference in the longer term, it is essential that young people are engaged in formal political processes and have a say in formulating today’s and tomorrow’s politics.
Consequently, every election is determined by the people who show up, thus the future of this country is in the hands of Nigeria voters.
Remember that youths are critical in any elections, as such must be given priority to ensure free and fair elections.
