The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday confirmed five new COVID-19 cases thus bringing the total in Nigeria to 70.
The centre which disclosed this via its tweeter handle on Friday said that three of the new cases were confirmed in FCT, and the two others in Oyo state.
So far, three cases have been discharged while one death has been recorded in the country due to the infection.
The centre announced in its tweet that: “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in FCT & 2 in Oyo State
“As at 08:00 pm 27th March there are 70 cases of confirmed #COVID19 reported Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.
