Council Chairman of Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Hon. Abayomi Adegoke, has felicitated with the management, staff, and students of the institution on the occasion of the 2026 New Year celebration.
In his New Year message to the college community, made available to journalists through the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Kingsley Omoyeni, Hon. Adegoke appreciated all stakeholders for their cooperation, dedication, and support throughout the outgoing year, 2025.
He also expressed profound appreciation to the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, and his administration for their unwavering support, particularly the Governor’s resolve and commitment to revitalising the state’s health and education sectors through sustained manpower development.
Adegoke urged all stakeholders to continue working together in unity for the advancement of the College and the overall development of Osun State. He further admonished students to take their academic pursuits seriously in the new year and to shun all forms of vices capable of jeopardising their future.
According to the statement, “As we welcome the New Year 2026, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to the management, academic and non-academic staff, students of our great institution, as well as the government and good people of Osun State.
“The New Year presents renewed hope, fresh opportunities, and shared responsibilities to build on the gains of the past year. I commend the management for their leadership and sense of duty, appreciate our staff for their dedication and professionalism, and urge our students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to academic excellence.
“On behalf of the Governing Council, I reaffirm our commitment to strengthening governance, supporting institutional development, and creating an enabling environment for teaching, learning, and service delivery, in line with the vision of the Osun State Government.
“I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Asiwaju Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, and his administration for their investments in education and health manpower development, which remain critical to the sustainable progress of our state. May God continue to grant the Governor strength, wisdom, and divine guidance.
“As we journey through 2026, I urge all stakeholders to continue to work together with unity, dedication, and shared purpose for the growth of our institution and the advancement of Osun State.”
