The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has alerted parents of drug-laced snacks disguised as sweets, chocolates, and biscuits in children’s bags and pockets.

Its spokesman, Femi Babafemi, raised the alarm via a post on X (formerly Twitter), citing recent seizures that revealed hard drugs camouflaged in colorful wrappers.

He described the disguised substances as “destiny destroyers” and urged parents to closely inspect any suspicious-looking treats.

The NDLEA emphasized that these deceptive products underscore the need for increased parental vigilance and early intervention.
