National Youth Council Of Nigeria, Ondo State felicitates Olowo of Owo on successful 2023 Igogo Festival

The Ondo State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III and his chiefs on the successful and peaceful celebration of the 2023 Igogo Festival.

This was contained in a statement signed jointly by the NYCN State Chairman, Pathfinder Ogunmolawa Matthew Adewale, and Press Secretary, Comrade Aje Emmanuel.

According to the statement, Ogunmolawa “on behalf of the entire Youth Council and the youths of Owo Kingdom both at home and abroad, expressed his joy over the successful completion of the cultural festival, which is an important part of the people’s tradition.”

“The NYCN Chairman congratulated the Olowo and other chiefs for upholding the tradition of the Igogo Festival and ensuring that it was celebrated peacefully and successfully.

“He urged them to continue to promote the culture and traditions of the people of Owo and promised the support of the Youth Council towards the development of the kingdom.

*Furthermore,the Pathfinder Ogunmolawa Matthew Adewale led National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ondo State Chapter also congratulates the Ojomo Luda of Ijebu Owo, High Ojumu, High Chief Ajana, High Chief Osuporu, The Akowaloja of Iloro, High Chief Alajagho of Iloro and other notable chiefs in Owo Kingdom on the successful and peaceful Celebration of 2023 Igogo Festival.

“The Igogo Festival is an annual event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Owo people, and it is marked by colourful parades, traditional dances, and displays of various cultural artefacts.

‘The festival brings together the people of Owo, and it is an opportunity for them to showcase their unique culture to the world..”
