The Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, in Ondo State, Pathfinder Matthew Ogunmolawa has urged the youths in the state to use this year’s Yuletide season to spread joy, love, and hope statewide.
Besides, he appealed to all citizens of the state to remember that unity is our strength and to work together towards a common goal regardless of their backgrounds, beliefs, or political affiliations.
In a message titled “Season’s Greetings: Spreading Joy and Hope”, which he signed, he said: “As the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ondo State Chapter, it is with great pleasure and a heart full of warmth that I extend my heartfelt Christmas greetings to every one of you. The holiday season is upon us, and it is a time of spreading joy, love, and hope.
“This year has been quite challenging for all of us, However, in the face of adversity, the indomitable spirit of the youth and citizens of Ondo State has shone brightly. Through resilience, adaptability, and unity, we have overcome numerous obstacles and demonstrated our strength as a community.
“Christmas is a time of reflection, gratitude, and unity. It is an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It serves as a reminder that through love, compassion, and tolerance, we can build a society that embraces everyone, regardless of our differences.
“In this season of giving, let us not forget those who are less fortunate than us. Let us extend a helping hand to the less privileged, the elderly, and those in need. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.
“To the youths of Ondo State, I urge you to continue harnessing your incredible potential. You are the future leaders of our great State, and it is through your actions that we can shape our destiny. Let us use our creativity, innovation, and passion to contribute to the development of our communities and bring about positive change.
“To all citizens of Ondo State, let us remember that unity is our strength. Regardless of our backgrounds, beliefs, or political affiliations, let us work together towards a common goal.
“Together, we can overcome any adversity and build a brighter future for ourselves and the generations to come.
“As we celebrate Christmas, may your hearts be filled with joy, love, and peace. May this holiday season bring blessings and happiness to every one of you. May the New Year ahead be filled with endless opportunities, growth, and success.
