“The world we see around us is composed entirely of mind stuff”
The way the world is structured, which has now been described to us in detail, is quite different from how we have always perceived it.
For instance, both Science and Mysticism have now explained to us that the things we see around us are made up of mind stuff. That is, all the things around us that we traditionally see as solid are actually not solid in reality but very small pieces of quantum matter that are not really in a solid state. It acts as a wave, and also acts as a particle. Depending on, wait for it, how the human mind dictates. That is why Albert Einstein described reality as “merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one”. That illusion is sustained by our minds
What this fact indicates quite simply is that all what we see around us as solids are NOT solid. Their state can be changed by, what, the human mind.
The above is to let us know what powers are given to us through our mind, and the necessity to guide the mind in a good direction. If we are careless, the powerful tool we have will turn into a weapon against us.
But the mind can also be a very powerful tool in our hands for our development. Which is why we need to guard our minds with all diligence.. Once we fall into the prison of the mind, it becomes difficult to break out.
And this is why the world is the way it is today. People are generally not using the mind as an aid to development but as a weapon. But this weapon is turned against one self. This is the danger. When you have a knife sharpened and handed to you as a tool and as a weapon for attack and self defence, and you manage to turn the weapon on yourself, it is a tragic situation to be in.
But that is where we are today, especially as Nigerians, nay, as the Black man.
Abandonment of history and its lessons
This situation of mind slavery did not come suddenly. It was a creeping affilction. The frog in the slow-heated bowl of water. It started with self abandonement. Yes. We abandoned ourselves.
We abandoned everything indigenous to us. Our religion, our language, our foods, even our dressing. All have been abandoned or severely distorted. It no longer occurs to anyone now that it is possible to live well and succeed as a human being without the input of the White or Yellow man. Our leaders are not aware that we had a long illustrious history before the White man intruded on our development and unleashed absolute chaos on our way of life.
It’s been said that nobody can be enslaved without his will. this is true. what the white (Pink) man did was to conquer our minds first, and after that every other thing flowed from there.
“Education makes conquest permanent because it bewitches the soul.” -Amilcar Cabral
So we stand today as caricatures of other people. We have, imbeded in us, the values of other people. The outlook of other people. If education is training of the mind, then we have had our minds mis-trained and been given a mis-education.
‘Non-Custodial, Unconvicted jailbirds’
Effectively, our minds have been turned into our jailhouse . And we have not been convicted of any crime! Except for mental indolence! It’s a non custodial jail.
This is the reason we are told that the most difficult prison to escape is that of the mind. First reason is that the prisoner is unaware he is in prison.if you are unaware of imprisonment, and you even love the imprisonment, then the issue of hating the prison condition to the extent of wanting to leave, or break out does not arise.
Black man in a bind
Right now, the biggest problem of the Black man is that he is a mind slave, with invisible slave masters who, however, control him more effectively than the slave master did with whips in the plantations. The slave master is not experiencing the sweltering heat of the sugarcane fields along with the slaves like before. While today’s slaves sweat it out in the chaotic society and the urban slums and ghettos he has created at the dictates of the slave master, the slave master puppeteer is living in sinecured indolence in posh, air conditioned offices in the Washington precincts, in London, Beijing, or sometimes (but rarely) beneath the onion domes of the Moscow Kremlin.
Of course the yard slaves are in the better regions of the home capitals of Lagos, Accra, Abidjan Nairobi etc, leaving the mass of the field negroes stranded in the revolving wheel of the rat race.
Mind slaves as rulers
We have therefore arrived, as a race, in a terrible precipice. Our rulers are not leading us, but just ruling, administering the homeland for the benefit of aliens who are sitting thousands of kilometers away, invisible.
Our countries became the new plantation, .And as in all plantations, the slaves, the mind slaves that is, divided itself into the field negroes and the yard Negroes.
Once in a while, of course, a shooting star appears among the natives, the field Negroes who attempts to awaken the remaining negroes to their debased status of being slaves. But it is usually a tough, losing battle. What is worse, almost immediately, the slave masters realise what the escapee negro is up to, and neutralises him, by any means necessary.
Either remove him from the scene , or bribe him and turn him into a yard Negro: in other words, still a slave, but now elevated in his own eyes, above his fellow slaves in the field. Such awakening Negros, Escaped mind slaves who were neutralised or murdered include Marcus Garvey (neutralised) Sylvio Olympio (Togo), Patrice Lumumba, Malcolm X, Murtala Mohammed, Martin Luther King even Thomas Sankara and Robert N. Marley. (all assasinated) Kwame Nkrumah, Leopold Sedar Senghor, and Ahmed South Toure (politically manipulated and destroyed) .
Then there are the outright quislings who voluntarily became puppets. Like Mobutu Sese Seko, Jonas Savimbi, Mengistu Haile Mariam. Rounding off the list is the buffoons who ran their countries at times like a zany carnival:Idi Amin Dada, and Jean Bedel Bokassa being examples.
All these people ensured that the growth of Africa, sub Saharan Africa that is, never took off. And it has not taken off even till now.
Where we stand now?
Where we are now is that we , most of us, are drones of whoever educated us. either the French, the Portuguese, the Germans or the ubiquitous English. This is a dangerous situation to be in. It is worse than indoctrination or brainwashing. Mind slavery is in a special class of bondage: bondage of the mind. This turns the victims into mind slaves. So everything coming out of the mind-slave serves the slave master, one way or the other, immediately or in the long term, or both together. It is a terrible bind.
Everything is Tainted
As of today, everything the black man is doing is tainted. That is why indigenous languages, and oher aspects of culture like music, well suited to our environment, are dying out.. Our dressing has become taken over by alien influences. The situation is so bad that civil servants are required in some cases to only wear foreign patterns of dress. ..
Apparel mostly totally unsuited to our environment, like suits, and ties are prescribed as official office wear. This means all these aspects of soft power (culture we have surrendered without a fight. It also means endless business opportunity for the fashion designers of the West. It is very dance moggeli Perilous because all these aberrations are looked upon, not as a disgraceful badge of inferiority complex,, but as a sign of being civilised, and being better than those who are not so encumbered. We happily ignore our own foods that are also well suited to our environment, and hunger after foreign food, thereby creating the sacrilege of depending on outsiders to grow our food. A trap our forefathers never fell into!
In times past, we had food surplus with farm produce usually lasting till the next planting season. In fact, during New Yam Festivals, there exists a culture to deliberately throw away, old yams from the previous harvest, or feed it to the animals to make way for the new crop. But today we starve once there is no foreign exchange to buy (mainly unhealthy and unsuitable ) food at exorbitant prices from outside our shores. Making us dependent on others for this most basic of human needs.
And there is more. Due to the wrong tastes we have managed to develop for foreign foods, we have become addicted to their dangerously enhanced GMO produce. What that means is that sundry chemicals find their way into our body system and cause illness. Illness that should never have appeared here if we had maintained the dignity of eating only what Nature provides for us in such abundance in our envronment.
Nor is this all. The tropical part of the planet, where Nature has placed the black man, is universally acknowledged as the richest in diversity of flora and fauna, this means an abundance of nature based food and medicine for the natural good health of the body. But we ignore this abundance, which our ancestors knew about and used, to the detriment of our health and physical well being.
Today we stand critically malnourished in the midst of overabundance of nutritious foods surrounding us.
Among others, this crisis of mind slavery has created some distortions which constitute a blockade, Blockades that are so stubborn that our journey to real development can not start unless we dislodge these blockades from our thinking.
By any means necessary.
‘The encirclement now complete’
What has now been accomplished is the complete encirclement of the Black Man.
In areas like culture, religion, governmental structure, and most dangerous, the mentality.
We move around in circles, seeking validation from everyone, and through everything. We like foreign things more than the owners do. We are happy to acquire properties in the foreign lands where we are routinely called monkeys (among otheindignities).
Politics is turned into a War, and a business. Cash and carry. In fact in some African countries, the governance model of the leaderdoes resemble a Crime Family. And it is only getting worse. Because our educational institutions, movies, music, TV and Radio Programming as well as traditional media go right on reinforcing the same self deprecating methods of self analysis and develop model.
So what is to be done?
Invisible chains are the most difficult to get rid of. At least the chains around the neck of the slaves, and the whips of the slave masters clearly seen by all, was a clear target: get those chains off those necks, and get the slavemaster to throw his whips into the fire. This stark clarity made the war for end of slavery and emancipation of the slaves a clear cut one and thus asier to fight and win. But mind slaves are held by no visible chains. So how do you fight what is unseen?
Mind slaves are not given to easy liberation. The first battle is often the toughest: penetrating the fuzzy thinking clouding the brains of the slave is usually an uphill task. For, truth be told, mind slaves like their chains. The more you show them signs of their slavery, the more they dig in to counter your arguments.
Mind Liberation efforts call for almost superhuman patience to be able to endure all the false arguments that mind slaves continually come up with to avoid taking the first step out of their prison.
Liberation War, and Warriors
But it is a task that must be done. The few that recognise the task must regard themselves as anti-slavery Warriors, and deploy all means possible in the process. The assignment is to first, break down and wipe away the Programming that is already embedded in many Africans. From the broken down and therefore ‘clean state’ brain, a return to our own indigenous things in all ways is next task. A new whole educational paradigm is called for, and must not be evaded.
Beyond return to our roots, we must now open our eyes and our minds to look at offerings of all sorts from other parts of the world and determine, without any duress, illogical it is that must be discarded, which ones are worth copying, and which one are worth denouncing.
We then relearn, unlearn and learn many things, from the ROOTS, using our indigenous ways as FOUNDATION.
So, a Sound, wholesome education that has at its basis, the truth about this planet, the true nature of reality, life lessons, what is the true purpose of man on earth; and how to achieve it, how to achieve harmony with one’s fellow humans, and finally the fastest way to attain spiritual goals is the basis of a true liberation war that now has to be fought to free and emancipate the mind slaves that abound right now.
But first, some mental bushes must be cleared up, analyses done, and then we re – mould the Nigerian man, the African man, and finally the human being everywhere into a legitimate occupant of this planet, of the continent of Africa, demonstrate that we are ready to assert those rights “By any Means Necessary.
It is a hard, but necessary task.
