Participants from across the federation billed for the 2023 Conference of the National Association for Christian Studies( NACS) will converge on McPherson University,Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State from Monday, October 30 to Thursday, November 2, 2023.
A statement by Mr. Sanmi Enigbokan, the university’s Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relation, said that the theme for this year’s conference is ” The Church, Peace-Building and Sustainable Development in Nigeria”.
He said Rt.Rev.Prof.Dayo Asaju, erstwhile Vice-Chancellor, Ajayi Crowther University,Oyo, Oyo State will deliver the keynote presentation.
According to the statement: “The four-day conference will feature, among others, two lead paper presentations; three parallel sessions and launching of NACS Journal.
“From the conference schedule, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francis Igbasan, who also doubles as the Chief Host , will on Tuesday, October 31,2023 declare the event open at the University Multipurpose Hall by 10:00 a.m.
“Expected at the forum are scholars from diverse fields, National Executive of NACS led by Prof. Afolorunso Dairo, invited guests as well as Staff and Students of the University.
“The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the University Community, welcomes all participants to our peaceful campus, while wishing them a fruitful annual conference.”
