Many people claim that they have always lived rightly and are therefore perfect in the eyes of God.
After all, they claim they have always done their duty and have eliminated things described as sins these days from their lives.
In their self-righteousness, they think God owes them the debt of righteousness or justification.
They think that if God should choose some people to rule with Him in His Kingdom, they must surely be counted as one.
But, in actual fact, God does not owe anyone anything. Romans 3:25 says “God even justifies the ungodly” because He “counts their faith for righteousness.”
We therefore must cease from boasting that we are righteous because we are not.
The righteousness of God is our righteousness.
All you need is just to believe. The rest is left for God.
May we all make it into righteousness in Jesus Name.
