A man who allegedly threatened to kill Osun State Governor Ademola Adekeke if he decamps to the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been arrested and charged to court.
He was arrested by Oyo State Police Command
The man, believed to be an APC member allegedly threatened the governor through a viral video before nemesis caught up with him.
According to a post by APC members in the state, the suspect, who stays in Ibadan, was allegedly arraigned in a magistrate court on Tuesday morning.
The post stated that his arrest and subsequent arraignment followed a petition by one CSP Adefisoye Kazeem and the Special Adviser to Governor Adeleke on Legal Matters, Nurudeen Kareem.
Sources said the suspect threatened to make life unbearable for Adeleke if he ever decamped to the APC.
He reportedly said in the video that the governor will beg for death after witnessing what he would do to him if he decamps to the APC.
