Our near stagnancy needed oiling and a new re-birth more than ever before especially from the cancer-worm infected on us from the later part of the Century by the Whites who are now rascals in their Faiths/Beliefs. Holy Spirit is departing from them as they are leaning more to the World than God, the Creator of the Universe.
They now have another God apart from God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit which they believed in and represented/symbolized/idolized by Science, Technology and Wealth.
They worshiped money and they have tried to influence us with it until the Church of Nigeria(Anglican Communion) and its counterpart from Africa woke up from slumber to say “Get behind Us Satan”.
They forgot that God created Wealth and all what Science/Technology created through experiments.
Now, Anglican is free but we still need a “Total Freedom” of the “Roforofo Oil” they long brought on us to get our total emancipation from Religious Wolves.
This is the right time to take the right Religion/Faith back to the Whites in England, America plus other European Countries through a new Great Commission from Nigeria/Africa as ordered by Almighty God in Matt.28:19-20.
A reminder from some Books of History and Records will further enlighten us as follows:
The Jerusalem Conference of the Anglican is officially known as the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON). This conference was first held in Jerusalem from June 22 to 29, 2008.
GAFCON emerged as a response to the growing controversy and divisions within the Anglican Communion, particularly concerning issues like secularism, HIV/AIDS, poverty, and the consecration of openly non-celibate homosexual bishops. The conference aimed to promote and protect the biblical gospel and mission to the world.
Key Objectives and Outcomes:
- Addressing Divisions: GAFCON sought to address the divisions within the Anglican Communion and promote unity among conservative Anglicans.
- Jerusalem Declaration: The conference resulted in the Jerusalem Declaration, a doctrinal confession that upholds the Holy Scriptures, the four Ecumenical Councils, and the three historic Creeds.
- Global Fellowship: GAFCON led to the creation of the Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (GFCA), which aims to unite faithful Anglicans worldwide.
Subsequent Conferences:
GAFCON has held multiple conferences since its inception, including:
- GAFCON II- (2013) in Nairobi, Kenya
- GAFCON III-(2018) in Jerusalem, Israel
- GAFCON IV-(2023) in Kigali, Rwanda.
These conferences have continued to promote the biblical gospel and mission, while addressing challenges within the Anglican Communion.
The Common-Sense of Re-awakening is blooming around Africa and….
The Archbishop of Canterbury resignation on 12th November, 2024 is another sign…
One more thing we should not over-look so as not to go back to our vomit like dogs is to change our lukewarm mentality to Politics/Governance to be concerned with who governs us, perform our Civic responsibility because it will affect our religion and development or growth.
WE can’t sidon-look for it won’t pay us in this new dispensation where winners take all to proclaim draconian laws against the Church while other Faiths thrive in it. Prosperity of a kind not approved by God should be discarded and WE must totally refuse to be of the World. WE must also remember that, “Ibare Aye ni isota Olorun”.
James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matthew 18:7
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
John 7:7
The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
John 8:23
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1 Corinthians 1:20
Where is the wise ? where is the scribe ? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world ?
Ephesians 3:9
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Philippians 2:15
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
1 John 5:5
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Little by Little, WE are getting there but, WE must make hay when the Sun shines.
WE are eternally grateful to our former Archbishops T.O Olufosoye, Abiodun Adetiloye, Jasper Akinola, N.D Okoh, Henry Ndukuba, Other Archbishops and Bishops in and outside Nigeria/Africa who quickly saw the handwriting on the wall long before now to call it quit religiously, educationally and morally right from the 1988 Lambeth Conference and called for a new Conference in Jerusalem.
WE can’t but appreciate all Anglican Communicators/Broadcasters/Media, League of Anglican Media Professionals (LAMP), Journalists/Press who stood firmly to write and broadcast the stand of Anglican in Nigeria/Africa and other Nations that supported us on Radio, Television and Newspapers.
The strife is not yet over. This is the right time for all Archbishops, Bishops and Clergy to embrace “The Church On Air”/ “Online Church”, establish LAMP in various Dioceses I long preached to arrest the hearts of our members.
The four walls of Churches (buildings) cannot do it alone. Let us invest in the Media like Pastor Adeboye, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Anisulowo, late Timothy Obadare, late Pastor Joshua, late Idahosa, late Evang. Bonkie etc whose fame and their Churches grew through the Media.
Catholic Church uses its Media and celebrates its Social Communications every year with the Pope’s Message preached across the Globe and all media invited with a lecture and fun-fare.
The Youths more than the Aged needed it.
WE must rally round the Primate in patronizing and having more of Anglican Crowther FM Abuja, ACNN TV, Abuja, Online Media, Newspapers, Magazines, Music and Drama/Films Ministries, Recorded Sermons in CDs, Flashes to catch them young among others.
We waste a lot of our Sermons, Seminars, Lectures, Workshops which we failed to record for members to use and keep. A new Church of Tomorrow is coming…..and Anglican must prepare for it.
Let us embrace the knowledge and wisdom of our Professional members.
The change has started and it must be fully implemented holistically to enable us not to return to “Egypt” again. WE must not look back for God is with US -Emmanuel!
I remember the great speech of The Rt.Rev’d Peter Adebiyi in defence of the right Religion in the presence of the Whites that brought Christianity during the Conference.
He told them point blank that Nigeria would not serve God and mammon or bow down to Satan anymore…..and that WE shall continue to follow the teachings of the Holy Bible than man’s proclamation of heresy – Homosexuality, Lesbianism etc.
I remember the refusal of our Bishop Dr.Emmanuel Bolanle Gbonigi of Akure Diocese of not sending Clergy who cannot be firm in their Faith to study in America for sometimes then so as not to be polluted.
WE started watching what to take from them then in order to avoid bad “Religious infection”.
WE are mindful of Eternity.
We know Whom we are serving as the living God through the Faith of Our Fathers, a Faith of Wisdom and Understanding from the Old Time Religion.
