The United States of America through its mission in Nigeria has called on all stakeholders to ensure that free, fair, transparent, and peaceful elections reigns in Ondo State on Saturday.
In a statement on the mission’s website, the country reiterated its belief in free, fair and transparent electoral processes, calling on all stakeholders in the process including the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, political parties, and the security services, to take concrete steps in ensuring a peaceful election that reflects the will of the people of Ondo State.
It assured that the United States remains committed to the U.S.-Nigeria partnership and is ever ready to work together to achieve the mutual goals of peace and prosperity for the citizens of both countries .
