Popular movie star Kemi Afolabi has expressed sadness about the worsening deplorable conditions in the country after returning to Nigeria following her medical trip in the United States.
She had disclosed in March, that she was suffering from an ailment that had drained her physically, financially and emotionally.
According to her, she was suffering from lupus, an incurable condition for which a doctor said she had just five more years to live; out of which she has already lived one.
Her colleagues in the movie industry had rallied to seek funds for her urgent medical attention; following which she was granted an emergency health visa in the US to begin a lifesaving treatment for her terminal illness.
On her return however, the 43-year-old film star lamented the state of the country, the bad roads and insecurity; regretting that things were still the same way they were before she left.
After returning to Nigeria, she took to her Instagram to express her fears and wishes and called on the government to find solutions to the problems she pointed out in her statement.
Kemi wrote: “Back to my biggest fear…my country NIGERIA. Nothing has changed! Same Nonni
