Wife of Ondo State Governor, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has restated the unwavering commitment of the Akeredolu-led administration to delivering the dividends of democracy to Ondo State women.
A statement by her Chief Press Secretary, Oluwatobi Omosalewa Fademi, said that she made this known during an interactive session with Iyalojas from across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State which held on Thursday at the Government House, Akure.
The First Lady noted that the State Governor is working with sincerity of purpose towards making Ondo State an economic powerhouse through massive road construction and industrialisation.
The Iyalojas who came in their large number, appreciated Mrs Akeredolu for her many empowerment programs including FOWOSO, BEMORE Summer Bootcamp, BRECAN and so on.
They also lauded the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN for his love for women stating that this reflects his attributes as an ideal leader.
The grassroots women, therefore, promised undiluted loyalty and cooperation to the administration of Akeredolu and his second term agenda.
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the women, the State secretary of the group Mrs. Toyin Akinmoyo, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to express their minds freely.
Also present at the interactive session were the commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Mrs. Lola Fagbemi, the SSA to the Governor on Women Affairs, Mrs Titi Adeyemi, Chairman Okitipupa Local Government Area, Major Morenike Alaka, former Chairman, Akure South, Comrade Margaret Atere and Supervisory Councillor, Odigbo Local Government, Eucharia Nwamara.
